Erklärung von der Herz Gruppe zum Krieg in der Ukraine

Mit großer Betroffenheit blicken wir dieser Tage in die Ukraine. Niemand hätte sich je vorstellen können, dass im Jahre 2022 eine Situation wie die derzeitige überhaupt noch möglich sein könnte. All unsere Gedanken sind beim ukrainischen Volk und den Menschen, die unter dieser schrecklichen Situation leiden.

Unsere besondere Sorge jedoch gilt natürlich unseren Mitarbeitern und ihren Familien, für die wir jede erdenkliche Hilfe zur Verfügung stellen. Aber nicht nur vor Ort, auch im Nachbarland der Ukraine, Polen, und wie auch in Österreich versuchen wir den ankommenden Flüchtlingen mit Unterkünften, Kleidung aber auch Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen.

In Bezug auf die aktiven geschäftlichen Verbindungen in Russland und Weißrussland werden wir bestehende Verpflichtungen, soweit überhaupt möglich, erfüllen. Von neuen Geschäftsbeziehungen werden wir unter diesen Umständen und so lange keine friedliche Lösung in diesem Konflikt gefunden wird, Abstand nehmen.

Wir hoffen inständig auf ein baldiges Ende des Krieges, und wollen zum Wiederaufbau der zerstörten Wohnungen, Häuser und Städte nach Kräften und Möglichkeiten beitragen.

Statement by the Herz Group on the war in Ukraine

Vienna, March 21, 2022

It is with great sadness that we are looking at Ukraine these days. Nobody could have ever imagined that in 2022 a situation like the current one could still be possible. All our thoughts are with the Ukrainian people and those suffering from this terrible situation.

Of course, our special concern is for our employees and their families, for whom we provide every conceivable help. But not only on site, also in Ukraine‘s neighbouring country of Poland and as well as in Austria, we try to support the arriving refugees with accommodation, clothing, but also with advice and action.

With regards to the active business connections in Russia and Belarus, we will fulfill existing obligations as far as possible. Under these circumstances, and as long as no peaceful solution can be found in this conflict, we will refrain from new business relationships.

We sincerely hope that the war will end soon and want to do our best to help rebuild the destroyed apartments, houses and towns in Ukraine.

З великим сумом ми дивимося на Україну в ці дні. Ніхто й уявити собі не міг, що в 2022 році може статися така ситуація, як нинішня. Усі наші думки з українським народом і тими, хто потерпає від цієї жахливої ситуації.

Звичайно, наша особлива турбота – про наших співробітників та їхніх сімей, яким ми надаємо всю можливу допомогу. І це не лише локально, а й у сусідній до України Польщі, а також в Австрії ми намагаємося підтримати прибулих біженців проживанням, одягом, а також порадою та ділом.

Що стосується активних ділових зв’язків у Росії та Білорусі, то ми завершимо вже взяті на себе наявні зобов’язання, наскільки це взагалі буде можливо. Від нових ділових відносин за даних обставин, і доки не буде знайдено мирного вирішення цього конфлікту, ми будемо утримуватися.

Ми щиро сподіваємося, що війна скоро закінчиться і хочемо зробити все можливе, щоб допомогти відновити зруйновані квартири, будинки та міста.
